WYSI(N)WYG comes to G(h)ent

Nadar’s newest program ‘What you see is (not) what you get’ – premiered at the SWR festival in Donaueschingen will play in De Bijloke this week Friday, the 11th of December.  This program with new pieces by Stefan Prins (Scenography by Marieke Berendsen) and the duo Michael Beil/Thierry  Brühl was enthusiastically cheered by more than a 1000 spectators during its debut last month.

Nadar on the Radio

Tomorrow evening the Belgian radio station Klara will air the live recording of Simon Steen-Andersen‘s Amid, as performed by Nadar Ensemble (and conducted by me!) at the yearly festival for new music in Leuven, TRANSIT.

Simon Steen-Andersen’s ‘Black Box Music’ in Belgium

In a couple weeks, Nadar Ensemble will perform Simon Steen-Andersen’s recent piece for Conductor-Soloist and large ensemble – Black Box Music (2012). We are fortunate enough to be able to play it at 2 locations back-to-back, both in Belgium:

18 November in Concertgebouw Brugge as part of their Surround! Festival,

and, 19 November in Casino, Sint-Niklaas, Nadar’s home town!
