This week I am back in Berlin for a weeks worth of shows at the beautiful Theater Des Westens. Its wonderful playing with this great orchestra and hearing the cast every evening.
Next weekend its back to Belgium for a project with the researchers at the Orpheus Institute and to start a cool project with Spectra Ensemble.

The current season starts off with some pretty cool projects for me. Next week, Nadar ensemble will hold its very first Nadar Summer School for Composers and Sound Artists in the world renowned deSingel in Antwerp Belgium.

The 7th Edition (!) of the Nadar Summer Academy starts next week in Sint-Niklaas, Belgium. On the program for this year’s kids: Prins – Generation Kill, Jasper&Jasper – Quakea, Walshe – A Sensitive Number for the Laydeez, & Schubert – Laplace Tiger.

I am very pleased to be part of this amazing new production of Stockhausen’s Signale zur Invasion.

Tomorrow afternoon, Nadar Ensemble will perform in the Stadsschouwburg Amsterdam during the opening weekend of the Holland Festival. The concert starts at 15u. See you then!

Tomorrow I am headed back to Berlin to perform Sebastian Gräfe and Matthias Krannebitter’s cool piece ‘Wassermusik’ for 5 trombones, a river, 3 water-mutes and the sea. The show is at 20:30 on the 5th of May in the Akademie der Kunsten, Berlin.
Then its off to Aarhus, Denmark, with Nadar Ensemble to perform at this year’s SPOR Festival. Nadar’s excitingly innovative program WYSI(N)WYG is also the title of this year’s festival, curated by the co-artistic directors of Nadar, Stefan Prins and Pieter Matthynssens. We will play on the 13th of May at 19:30 in the Godsbannen, Aarhus, Denmark.

And the week after, Nadar will head back to Stuttgart to take part in the congress ‘Wirklichkeiten.’ Nadar will give concerts on the 19th and the 21st of May in the Musikhochschule Stuttgart.
