The current season starts off with some pretty cool projects for me. Next week, Nadar ensemble will hold its very first Nadar Summer School for Composers and Sound Artists in the world renowned deSingel in Antwerp Belgium.

Then it’s off to Kiev with Nadar Ensemble! We’ll be bringing the mega cool project Lesaeserma Prokhunakis at Gogolfest on the 10th of September. Check it out: LP-Gogolfest

And in October, I get the chance to perform Stockhausen’s solo piece for Trombone Signale zur Invasion. The curtain goes up and the speakers go on at 17hr on the 8th of October in Liege, Belgium. For tickets and Info, visit: Images-Sonores

The 7th Edition (!) of the Nadar Summer Academy starts next week in Sint-Niklaas, Belgium. On the program for this year’s kids: Prins – Generation Kill, Jasper&Jasper – Quakea, Walshe – A Sensitive Number for the Laydeez, & Schubert – Laplace Tiger.

Cosmic Pulses

Tomorrow afternoon, Nadar Ensemble will perform in the Stadsschouwburg Amsterdam during the opening weekend of the Holland Festival. The concert starts at 15u. See you then!

Tomorrow I am headed back to Berlin to perform Sebastian Gräfe and Matthias Krannebitter’s cool piece ‘Wassermusik’ for 5 trombones, a river, 3 water-mutes and the sea.  The show is at 20:30 on the 5th of May in the Akademie der Kunsten, Berlin.

Then its off to Aarhus, Denmark, with Nadar Ensemble to perform at this year’s SPOR Festival.  Nadar’s excitingly innovative program WYSI(N)WYG is also the title of this year’s festival, curated by the co-artistic directors of Nadar, Stefan Prins and Pieter Matthynssens. We will play on the 13th of May at 19:30 in the Godsbannen, Aarhus, Denmark. .

And the week after, Nadar will head back to Stuttgart to take part in the congress ‘Wirklichkeiten.’ Nadar will give concerts on the 19th and the 21st of May in the Musikhochschule  Stuttgart.

Nadar is back in Switzerland and with a great program featuring Stefan Prins, Florian Bogner, Jorge Sanchez-Chiong and the amazing video artists TE-R (Thomas Wagensommer & Louise Linsenbolz).

We play this evening in the Walcheturm at 20:30.

Tomorrow evening I’ll be head to Berlin to play in the Akademie der Künste, Hanseatenweg.

Artists Sebastian Gräfe and Matthias Krannebitter have created a cool piece for 5 trombones (three of which will play underwater – sort of), a river, 2 lighthouses and the sea. If you are in Berlin tomorrow, come see it! We play at 9:30 pm.
